Following a search of our paper and electronic records, I have established that we do not hold the information you have requested.
The role of The Pensions Regulator is to protect the UK’s workplace pensions. We make sure employers, trustees, pension specialists and business advisers can fulfil their duties to scheme members.
We are responsible for:
- making sure employers put their staff into a pension scheme and pay money into it (known as ‘automatic enrolment’)
- protecting people’s savings in workplace pensions
- improving the way that workplace pension schemes are run
- reducing the risk of pension schemes ending up in the Pension Protection Fund
- making sure employers balance the needs of their defined benefit pension scheme with growing their business
Advice and assistance
Section 16 of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requires a public authority to provide advice and assistance, so far as it would be reasonable to expect the authority to do so, to persons who propose to make, or have made, requests for information to it. You may find that the information you have requested is publicly available from registered pension providers. I have provided the links to Aviva and Royal London websites.
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is the public body which regulates pension providers, and your request might be better answered by the FCA FOIA team. However, we cannot confirm if the FCA has the information you have requested.
