Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FoIA) you have the right to ask for access to information that The Pensions Regulator (TPR) holds.
There is no obligation for us to create new information in response to a request or to answer questions which ask for speculation and opinion.

- Annual report and accounts: detailed analysis of our performance against our corporate priorities, including the results of our key performance indicators (KPIs) which concludes with a summary of our financial and sustainability performance.
- Our contracts register and government contracts finder: information about contracts worth over £12,000 (including VAT).
- Research and analysis: this includes information on the membership and assets for defined contribution (DC) schemes and defined benefit (DB) and hybrid schemes.
- Enforcement bulletins: bi-annual round-ups showing how often we have used our regulatory powers.
- Regulatory intervention reports: cases where we have used, or considered using, our regulatory powers.
- Determination notices: detailed accounts of decisions that the Determinations Panel has made.
- Prohibition of trustees register: a list of all trustees that currently have prohibition orders made against them.
- Penalty notices: details of Escalating Penalty Notices for automatic enrolment breaches and fines for scheme return offences.
- Regional enforcement data: automatic enrolment enforcement data, including Escalating Penalty Notices and Fixed Penalty Notices, broken down by UK region.

All requests must be in writing and include your real name and a postal or email address so we can contact you to discuss your request if necessary.

Fees
We are not obliged to comply with a request for information where the cost would exceed the appropriate limit in the Fees Regulations. This is set at £450 for TPR.
Staff costs are fixed at £25 per person per hour. The limit represents the estimated cost of one person spending 18 hours on determining whether we hold the information, locating, retrieving and extracting it.
