Can you provide us with a link to your digital workplace strategy? I'm trying to ascertain whether any competitive procurement exercise was carried out prior to standardising on the Microsoft Technology stack.
Response
As previously addressed in FOI-4968, we do not have a published policy for Digital Workplace. However, within our interim IT strategy we include a section on workplace management. In summary this states we have standardised on the Microsoft technology stack.
I can confirm that the decision to standardise on the Microsoft Technology stack did not result from a competitive procurement exercise, but the implementation was competitively let.
