According to the Railways Pension Scheme 2021 Annual Report and Audited Financial Statements (page 15) 'During 2021, there were 733 instances of late payment of contributions… Of the 733 instances of late payment 15 were required to be reported to the Pensions Regulator.'
Please will you provide brief details of the 15 instances that were reported to you, including the date of the report, name of the scheme reported, the amount of the late payment, the number of days it was late and any other information you consider relevant.

Following a search of our paper and electronic records, I have established that there isn’t enough detail for us to confirm that we hold the information. The information you have requested may be restricted information under the pensions legislation (s.82 Pensions Act 2004). If it is restricted information, there is an absolute exemption from disclosure (s.44 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000) and therefore we, The Pensions Regulator, would not be able to disclose it.
Restricted information is defined at section 82(4) of the Pensions Act 2004 (PA04) as: 'information obtained by the Regulator in the exercise of its functions which relates to the business or other affairs of any person'.
